Anti-Virus Protection &
Management
Monitoring and Management of ICSA
Certified Anti-virus scanning of inbound/outbound network
traffic. This service scans all Internet traffic via HTTP, FTP,
SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 protocols for Virus patterns. Most virus
attacks will be terminated at the firewall before they ever start.
All detected virus outbreaks will trigger alarms potentially causing
complete quarantine of the infected machine(s). Email messages
carrying potentially harmful attachments will have their attachments
removed prior to delivery. Atvantage will continually monitor all
computers on client’s network to ensure they remain virus-free. If
a virus is discovered on any PC or server on client’s internal LAN,
Atvantage will promptly clean any infected PC(s). If the same
computer becomes repeatedly infected, Atvantage may require that a
commercial anti-virus program be installed on that computer to
prevent future infections.
Bandwidth Management
Certain applications or users can
be given priority over Internet bandwidth. This guarantees high
performance from Internet based applications regardless of anomalous
bandwidth behavior such as large file downloads or bursting access
needs of Internet users.
Content Filtering
Management
Internet content filtering will
prevent users from accessing inappropriate web sites and
inappropriate web based email. Banned words and phrases are used, as
well as third party databases to filter prohibited Internet content.
Different levels of filtering can be applied to different users for
more flexibility. Passwords can also be implemented for Internet
Access.
Firewall Protection &
Management
Implementation, management, and
troubleshooting of ICSA Certified Firewall hardware preventing all
unnecessary access to and from your network. After reviewing your
business needs, only necessary inbound and outbound access will be
allowed.
Help Desk Support
As part of Client’s subscription,
Atvantage may provide help desk support for network infrastructure,
servers and desktops and most IT-related products. Examples include
operating system support, network connectivity, and most mainstream
business software applications. The exact number of help desk
incidents provided every month depends on the client's specific
plan. If client exceeds their allotted number of help desk incidents
in a month, additional incidents can be purchased at a discounted
rate.
Intrusion
Detection/Intrusion Prevention
All Intrusion Detection and
Prevention alerts will be monitored by Atvantage. The monitoring
process will evaluate each alert and take appropriate action based
on the evaluation. All Internet traffic will be scanned for known
attack patterns. As new vulnerabilities arise, new patterns will be
implemented into the security system to keep the customer network
safe from Internet attacks.
On-Site Service
As part of Client’s subscription,
Atvantage may provide on-site service for network infrastructure,
servers and desktops and most IT-related products. Examples include
hardware upgrades, operating system upgrades, implementation of new
infrastructural components, or anything that can't be solved or
completed remotely. The exact number of on-site service hours
provided every month depends on the client's specific plan. If
client exceeds their allotted number of on-site service hours in a
month, additional hours can be purchased at a discounted rate.
Remote VPN Connectivity &
Management
VPN service includes
implementation, management, and troubleshooting of IPSEC, PPTP, and
L2TP VPN tunnels. Virtual Private Networking connects your network
to other networks in the world via the Internet. Strong VPN
encryption algorithms are used to ensure the highest levels of
security as your network communicates with others. Users can share
resources between business sites or any remote location with
Internet Access. Remote VPN Connectivity requires configuration at
both ends of the VPN Tunnel.
Remote Monitoring & Alert
Management
Atvantage will use remote
monitoring tools to proactively monitor remote network hosts and
advise Client if a problem is detected. Remote Monitoring can be
provided for servers, desktops, firewalls, and any other network
devices of the customer's choosing.
Spam-free Email Hosting
Unlimited, SPAM Filtered Email is available for
corporate use using a customer defined domain name such as user_name@mycompany.com.
Support for the
POP3, IMAP,
and SMTP protocols will be provided. The server that will be
hosting the client’s email account can reside on an Atvantage server
at the Atvantage data center or on the customer's own email server.
As part of Atvantage’s email hosting package, all incoming email
will automatically be filtered for spam. While it is impossible to
block 100% of all spam, it is estimated that at least 80 – 90% of
spam will be successfully blocked by the Atvantage email system.
Web Hosting
Corporate Web Hosting with up to 500 MB of
server storage is provided using a
customer defined domain name such as mycompany.com. Support for
HTTP and FTP
protocols
will be provided. The server that will be hosting the client’s
website will reside in a secure, state-of-the-art data center,
providing excellent reliability and uptime.
