Description
Atvantage is currently looking for a qualified
Support Engineer to provide remote help desk support and occasional
on-site support to Atvantage customers. Required qualifications include:
·
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, particularly in
a Windows environment
·
Sound knowledge of technology-related hardware, including
desktops, servers, notebooks, and peripherals
·
Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop platforms,
especially Windows 2000 and Windows XP
·
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
·
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
·
Willingness and desire to learn, stretch and grow
Preferred qualifications include:
·
Experience with security-related technologies and devices,
including firewalls, VPNs and routing
·
Experience with Microsoft Server Systems, including
Windows 2000/2003 Server, Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003, and Internet
Information Services
·
A+ Certification
·
Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSA, MCSE)
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of industry experience is
required. Technical knowledge and
experience are important, but are secondary to the right attitude.
